Cameron Explodes over VESUVIUS
Variety reports that James Cameron's (Titanic) Fox-based Lightstorm Entertainment and 20th Century Fox have optioned the screen rights to the upcoming book by Charles Pellegrino "Ghosts of Vesuvius." The book is about the volcanic eruption that leveled Pompeii in 79 A.D.
Cameron has not yet decided if he will helm the project.
