Caine Finds 'Prestige' in 'Men'
Joining up with his 'Batman' buds.
It seems the boys from Batman Begins just can't separate as Michael Caine has chosen to join a couple of upcoming flicks, Children of Men and The Prestige.
The Prestige is being directed by Batman Begins director Christopher Nolan and also stars Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman. The film finds Caine playing a retired magician who teaches tricks to Jackman's character, who has developed a bitter rivalry with another magician (Bale).
Children of Men is being directed by Alfonso Cuaron and stars Clive Owen, Julianne Moore and Chiwetel Ejiofor. The film is the futuristic adaptation of the P.D. James novel scripted by Cuaron and Tim Sexton.
The film takes place in a near-future where mankind has lost the ability to procreate, the world is rocked by the news that the youngest person on Earth — who is 18-years-old — has died. As chaos erupts, a former radical (Owen) is engaged to be the protector of the most sought after person on the planet — the last remaining pregnant female (Moore).
