Buscemi, Cleese, Slater and Leno Voicing 'Igor'
Four tapped for new animated feature.
Straight out of The Hollywood Reporter comes news that Steve Buscemi, John Cleese and Jay Leno will all be adding their voices to the Exodus Film Group's computer-animated short film Igor: Unholy Frijoles, which is a good thing since we don't have enough of these animated movies in production.
The film is prequel to Igor, an animated comedy revolving around mad scientists and monsters due out in 2007 in which Christian Slater will give the voice to Igor, a mad scientist's hunchbacked lab assistant who dreams of winning the coveted first-place award at the annual Evil Science Fair and becoming a mad scientist in his own right.
Buscemi will voice the part of Scamper, a super-intelligent and sarcastic lab rabbit, and Cleese will voice Dr. Glickenstein, Igor's evil master. Leno is voicing Brian the Brain.
Both the short and the feature film where written by Chris McKenna while Fil Barlow is set to direct the short. A director for the feature film was not named.
