Bruce Willis Set for Mostow Sci-Fi Thriller
Bruce doesn't waste anytime finding a replacement feature
Only days ago we learned that Oliver Stone's unnecessary Vietnam war flick Pinkville was getting postponed thanks to the writers strike we learn that star Bruce Willis has quickly jumped ship over to Disney to film the Jonathan Mostow directed sci-fi thriller The Surrogates.
The film is based on the Top Shelf Comix graphic novel set in the near future, where humans live in isolation and interact vicariously through surrogate robots who are better-looking versions of themselves. Willis plays a cop who, through his surrogate, investigates the murders of others’ surrogates. The cop is forced to venture from his own home for the first time in years and unravels a conspiracy.
Pic was penned by Terminator 4 scribes Michael Ferris and John Brancato and is set to begin production in February in Boston. Touchstone Pictures will distribute.
