Broken Lizard Asks WB to 'Take My Wife'
New comedy for the Lizard bunch.
Warner Bros. seems to have fallen in love with the boys from Broken Lizard as they have bought the spec script Take My Wife from the bunch with Dukes of Hazzard helmer, Jay Chandrasekhar, and the rest of his comedy group Broken Lizard to produce. Chandrasekhar will, of course, direct.
Lizard's Paul Soter penned the script with Lee Ellenberg. The story centers on an average Joe who jokingly agrees to swap wives with a Hollywood superstar, setting off a disastrous chain of events.
Broken Lizard will release Beerfest thru Warners this August and also has set up Ambulance Chasers and Nutcracker at the studio.
