Brandon Routh and an Olsen Twin are 'Informers'?!?!
Okay, I am not too surprised
While the headline is a little sarcastic I am actually not that surprised Brandon Routh has been cast in a film that is not Superman based. Routh was not that bad in Superman Returns, even if the movie was just brutal to watch.
Routh is set to join a nice little ensemble cast that includes Billy Bob Thornton, Kim Basinger, Austin Nichols, Ashley Olsen (yes, an Olsen), Jon Foster and Lou Pucci in Senator Entertainment's The Informers, an ensemble drama based on short stories by Bret Easton Ellis.
The film is set over the course of a week in 1983, in the chillingly nihilistic world of Ellis' youth in Los Angeles. Seven storylines intersect, involving movie execs, rock stars, a vampire and other morally challenged characters. Gregor Jordan is directing with production set to begin in October in L.A., Uruguay and Buenos Aires.
If you are interested in any other films you may have seen based on Ellis' novels think American Psycho and The Rules of Attraction, those were his.

I haven't read The Informers yet, but based on the Bret Easton Ellis books that I have, I can't quite imagine the Olsen twins doing this. Especially due to their lack of talent.
Isnt ahley the one who is going to be on this season of Weeds. She hasent premiered in the season yet, but i am guessing it is.. one of them must be sick of just sitting around with nothing to do but spend the billion dollars they have.
I misread it and thought it was both. Maybe she won't be so bad. I'm still worried about Brandon Routh, though.
