Branagh On with Cruise for 'Valkyrie'
WWII drama taps yet another star
Variety is reporting that Kenneth Branagh is set to join Tom Cruise in the Bryan Singer-directed WWII drama Valkyrie for United Artists.
The story will feature Branagh playing a German general who mentors Cruise's character and hatches a plan to assassinate Hitler. Christopher McQuarrie and Nathan Alexander scripted, based on a true story.
Filming is set to begin on July 19 in Berlin.
