Eagle Eye dominates a weak crowd...

Eagle Eye did well, but it didn't crack $30m. So I win. That's right, I'm now claiming victory for anything resembling a thought. I'm a bit like the political process in America.
#1 movie predicted correctly: 2 Weeks In A Row
Shia seems to be the new #1 kid. He's picked good scripts for the past four years, a bit in the mold of Will Smith. So kudos to him I suppose.
Result: 29.2 million (My rank: #1, $5.3m off)
Clearly this got crushed. Perhaps it's time for Mr. Gere to ride off in to the sunset.
Result: 13.5 million (My rank: #2, $1.6m off)
Here's where the pain starts because I way overrated Spike Lee. I was lured in by the solid trailer.
Result: 7.0 million (My rank: #4, $.2m off)
Damn it, if only I hadn't whiffed on Miracle at St. Anna I'd be sitting pretty right now. This one did exactly as I projected – the religious crowd is a known economic quantity at this point.
Result: 6.5 million (My rank: #4, $.3m off)
It will be interesting to see if this makes an international box office splash. Is it too insider for other cultures to be interested in? My bet is "yes."
Result: 6.1 million (My rank: #6, $.5m off)
6. Igor
Whoa. This was a stunning result. Why did this only drop 30%? Was it actually good? Were parents desperate? I have more questions than answers on this film.
Result: 5.5 million (My rank: #7, $1.5m off)
No seriously, where is Spike Lee? Righteous Kill has made $35m on a budget of $60m. Prognosis: negative.
Result: 3.8 million (My rank: #9, $.4m off)
Bingo! I nailed this one exactly! What do I win? Oh, I see B-Luv already gave me credit on Friday night. I bask in his approval.
Result: 3.8 million (My rank: #8, $0m off)
An absolute beating. I'm a little surprised this only cleared $3k per theater – clearly people weren't intrigued. Still, if it had been a better movie it would have cleaned up come awards / DVD time.
Result: 3.5 million (My rank: #3, $3.9m off)
Ten for ten in the top ten. That counts for something. This film will end up around $40m on a budget of 17 bucks. So yeah, you'll be seeing more Tyler Perry fare at a theater near you.
Result: 3.1 million (My rank: #10, $0.1m off)
