I'm hyping this pick up because the next one isn't as good. This is a common political technique. It's called "accentuating the positive."

Wowsers. Tons o' Tyler Perry fans out there, eh? Almost 10k per screen for this bad boy. Now I'm sorry they didn't screen it for critics. It must be awesome!

Result: 20.0 million (My rank: #2, $5.4m off)

Holy moley did Drillbit Taylor take it in the teeth. I suppose that's what they get for releasing garbage.

Result: 10.7 million (My rank: #4, $1.7m off)

To continue along with the Drillbit bashing theme let's just reflect on how many good comedies have come out in March. I'm talking all-time here. Anyone?

So far so good. I inversed picks #3 and #4 but I'm not going to beat myself up about it. Losing in the new Hot Shots Golf for PS3? Yeah, that I am beating myself up over.

My theory is that the family dollar would propel College Road Trip over Easter Sunday. As it turns out the "anger" dollar triumphed.

There should be a book about the sort of person that thinks this is clever. People, they told the same story six times in a row. It was essentially the laziest screenwriting ever.
