The streak ends at the hands of stupidity.

I can't believe Meet the Spartans was my downfall. A little over two million Americans chose to see it this weekend; only I've never come across anyone like them. I guess I should be thankful.
#1 movie predicted correctly: Zero Week In A Row
Wow. What can you say? It made over 7k per theater which was even better than Epic Movie. It looks as though the dumbest one percent of America continues to be preyed upon.
Result: 18.7 million (My rank: #4, $6.8m off)
I really think the lack of television is starting to pay off at the multiplex. I'm happy for Rambo, and I love that he came out this week and said that HGH was "nothing." Now that's a "can do" spirit.
Result: 18.1 million (My rank: #2, $2.7m off)
Do you think any of the girlfriends taken to Rambo looked longingly at 27 Dresses across the lobby? Don't sweat it girlfriend, you didn't miss much.
Result: 13.6 million (My rank: #3, $1.2m off)
This number represents a whopping 68% decline. That's interesting. It means the internet dollar is worth about $40m opening weekend – and then nothing after.
Result: 12.7 million (My rank: #1, $8.1m off)
Good old Untraceable. If anything deserves a 68% drop it's this one next weekend. Let's make it happen people.
Result: 11.2 million (My rank: #5, $2.5m off)
6. Juno
This film actually gained dollars this weekend versus last. If Ellen Page wins a SAG tonight we should all just give up and admit Juno is the greatest film ever.
Result: 10.3 million (My rank: #3.3, $m off)
I was talking with Dre and I finally figured 2007 out. You read for it? 2007 had a TON of good films but very few great ones. Unlike 2006, it doesn't have a film I can actively cheer against (Babel) so I end up ranting about films that aren't great (There Will Be Blood, Juno, Michael Clayton). The thing is, they are good. So I'm feeling a little silly. From here on out I'll just cheer for Atonement and No Country and leave it at that.
Result: 10.2 million (My rank: #6, $1.6m off)
Dude, How She Move finished 12th. That's an ouchie. The public has spoken and the message is clear: Use proper grammar.
Result: 4.8 million (My rank: Not Ranked)
I hold out hope that it will finish 8th when all is said and done. Also, be sure to tune in tonight for my SAG live diary. I figure if you've made it this far my writing isn't too abhorrent to ya.
Result: 4.66 million (My rank: #8, $.6m off)
As I mentioned in Thursday column there were seven movies fighting for three spots. I'm just happy I got one right.
Result: 4.61 million (My rank: Not Ranked)
