#1 movie predicted correctly: Seven Weeks In A Row

1. Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby $47.0m (My rank: #1, $8.7 million off)
It did even better than I thought, better in fact than any Will Ferrell movie in the history of the universe. It's a small universe, but it is still impressive.

2. Barnyard: The Original Party Animals $16.0m (My rank: #5, $6.1 million off)

Number two slot for freaking Barnyard? People, we went over this at the meeting, now we are going to get more of this shoved down our gullets. I think we can all agree our gullets need less of this rot.

3. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest $11.0m (My rank: #4, $0.7 million off)

Yes, $.7m off for all the fans out there. Oracle continues to ride this Pirates wave as far as it will take me. When does this go out of theaters? Another month or so?

4. Miami Vice $9.6m (My rank: #2, $3.1 million off)

Murdered again. Not the way the glorious franchise deserved to go out, but there it is. Crockett and Tubbs are dead, long live Magnum P.I.

5. The Descent $8.8m (My rank: #3, $1.7 million off)

Not a great showing for the only horror on the board. Brad really liked this so I sit in judgement of you people that didn't see it, I'm guessing you caught Barnyard instead.

6. John Tucker Must Die $6.0m (My rank: #6, $1.7 million off)

The teen comedy continues to make up the most ground in terms of quality. Sadly this means that teens really are smarter than the rest of us, just as they'd long suspected.

7. Monster House $6.0m (My rank: #8, $0.9 million off)

Maybe they should just start releasing animations by the dozen each week. It's clear parents don't want to be on duty anymore, just drop them off at the quintuple feature at noon.

8. The Ant Bully $3.9m (My rank: #9, $0.1 million off)

On the other hand they all made $24.9m combined which is right around half of the number one flick. So maybe things aren't so bleak after all.

9. You, Me and Dupree $3.6m (My rank: NOT RANKED)

I didn't rank it because it's a mediocre movie (just slightly above average), and before you start jabbering about all the other mediocre ones ranked that rule only applies to the nine slot. If you want to do the research and see where I've broken this rule be my guest. We'll make you the official Oracle historian.

10. The Night Listener $3.6m (My rank: #7, $1.9 million off)

Does this mean I was within $2m on six of ten films? Yes it does, thanks for noticing. I'm beaming with pride. You could claim I'm manipulating numbers to suit me but I'd call you a jerk face if you did.
