Box-Office Oracle: Mar. 28 – Mar. 30, 2008

It's going to be close, but 21 at least looks like it should be interesting. It's not (sadly) but you won't find that out until after you've paid your ten bucks. Unless you read it here first. In which case this has turned into an odd Back to the Future style logic problem.

Estimate: $17.2 million

I can just feel the love for the spoofs waning. Meet the Spartans took in a healthy $18.5m but it was against an R-Rated Rambo. 21 will prove a bit tougher nut to crack.

Estimate: $14.8 million

My little brother is so desperate to see a movie that he called me up asking if he should see this one. March at the movies makes men do strange things. It's like when you're stranded in the wilderness with only your friends to eat.

Estimate: $13.8 million

I've considered suing Tyler Perry for the naming rights here. I'd claim they were my "Meet the Browns" since 1982. I'd lose, but the publicity would almost be worth it.

Estimate: $13.3 million

Repeat after me: No one wants to see an Iraq war movie. Give it a few decades filmmakers of America.

A very putrid movie. Very putrid indeed.

Strange – if you don't do press or screen your movie anywhere then no one knows about it. It's almost like a cause and effect sorta deal.

Estimate: $4.8 million

I saw an article ranking the most inaccurate historical films – this made the cut. The #1 movie was 2001: A Space Odyssey . That's a little funny, but also clearly unfair.

Estimate: $4.3 million

I think this is the only movie I can even sort of recommend this weekend. Hold on, I'm checking with my agent on it.

Yep, it will grab the tenth slot again. Also my agent called back and we're solid. Go see Run Fatboy Run. It's the only game in town.
