Blunt is 'Young Victoria'
No one really cares about this article...
It is articles like this that really bore me, and on top of that no one is even going to see that headline and want to read it. However, I am going to stick it out to let you know that Emily Blunt is set to star in The Young Victoria with Jean-Marc Vallee (who?) directing.
I can tell you are already all caught up in this wonderful news.
The historical pic will chronicle the turbulent early years of Queen Victoria's rule and her romance with Prince Albert. The script was penned by Academy Award-winning scribe Julian Fellowes.
In all honesty I am interested in this picture. I like period pieces a lot, but the jury is still out on Blunt. So far she has only really inspired people with her snotty performance in The Devil Wears Prada, it will be interesting to see her in a more dramatic and serious role, that is if this one gets picked up by a studio.
