I was heavily disappointed with this movie, and I'm not a big Marvel/X-Men fan. For a director who had a heavy disagreement with Tom Rothman during the making of "Wolverine", I expected something a lot more than what audiences got. Rather, we got another Rothman-mandated 105-minute bore that doesn't do justice to Marvel Studios' own output. And where did the budget go? For a movie that reportedly cost $150 million to make, the visual effects were simply awful and all the interesting characters either got sidelined and/or killed off.

For all the flack that Brett Ratner got for X3, at least that movie wasn't boring. And it had a beginning, middle, and end (and good visual effects). "Wolverine" was just a mess, and even the Gambit scenes were underwhelming. Ryan Reynolds should thank his lucky stars for his "Green Lantern" role at Warners, rather than the thankless job of Deadpool.

For me, "Wolverine" doesn't deserve a rental (or purchase). The first three films were far better.

I am in no way a fanboy, but I must disagree and say as a filmgoing experience, I was bored stiff by this. To each his own.

Compared to all the other X-men Flicks, this came last, so I don't think it was any good comparatively…
