Beer and Ghost Hunters

Another 12 hour day at work! I’m thinking of taking my sleeping bag back there, especially looking at what’s in store for me in the next few weeks. Seriously, I’m in the midst of a gigantic cluster fuck. And for what? We’re building 3 fucking test books. 12 hour days for that limited of an output is ridiculous. It’d help if the state got their shit together. Goddamn work is making me miserable.

So what do I do to relax. I go home drink some good beer.

And watch Ghost Hunters on the DVR.

Ghost Hunters

I’m so addicted to this show beginning about 3 months ago. Seriously addicted. It’s a fun show, really corny (especially the editing). But nonetheless, it’s intriguing as hell. And you get caught up in the show’s enthusiasm and what they have delivered in terms of evidence. For UFOs, I’m a total skeptic (although I believe without a doubt there is life throughout the Universe. C’mon a billion galaxies and we’re the only intelligent–if you can call humans that–life form? Get real. But whether aliens have visted Earth, I’m not sold). But this show has really got me interested in the possibility of ghosts. Heck I’d say I’m a believer now. The idea of ghosts is one of the most fascinating of all ideas, much more so than alien life (which I believe is such a duh). The idea of ghosts for me is a direct path towards the answer of whether God exists or not.

Sometimes hauntings only appears to be a residual source or energy just playing itself over and over. To me that doesn’t prove life after death. But if you can prove that a ghost is an intelligent being then doesn’t that prove there can be life after death? But does that mean there’s life after death for everyone or is only some people able to maintain enough energy after death to remain? I don’t know if this proves their is a God either. However, if a ghost told you there was a God, how could you not believe it. In fact when these guys do all of these electronic voice recordings, that’d be the 1st question I’d ask…although the answer could be scary.

I’m finished.

Weather It’s always good to start with the Weather

Living in Iowa is weird. Lived here all my life. And I still complain about the weather. Any way Monday has temps in the mid 40s. Yesterday, negative 30 wind chill. That’s a 70 degree difference in less than 24 hours. Oh and this of course was coupled with snow which equals blizzard conditions. Here’s some advice when the wind is about 30 miles per hour creating 30 below temps…do not run into it to get inside quicker. Makes you want to puke. Never fun.

Blizzard

Speaking of puking, I’m done with my great Boneless Chicken Wing fixation. Ate some from Buffalo Wild Wings last night (which has been of the 3 places I’ve got my wings from on a weekly basis for the last 3 months). Wanted to throw up all night long. I knew I was in bad shape when I was half way through the dozen. Yet I kept eating. Me am stoopid.

I’m finished.
