My Search for a Seattle Condo

Well, for those of you that aren't so lucky as to talk to me on a daily basis (for that I feel truly sorry for you it is quite a club to be in) I am currently hunting for a condo in Seattle. However, I wasn't searching until only recently because I had one all lined up until the agents selling the damned thing didn't do their job and the builders sold the building and the building is going to be turned into luxury apartments instead of condos. I had put down earnest money on a condo in this building last May or so and was expected to move in this May.

So, I was out on my ass and left to search with a few my earnest money and a few extra dollars in my pocket and a buyer's market in front of me.

Last night I took a second look at a condo that I pretty much knew was too small, but look at that picture above, that is the view from the terrace. Yeah, it almost sold me even though I would have been staring at my television from about five feet away.

However, I took a look at another condo last night that I think we are going to be putting an offer on. It has a nice little community atmosphere, it's really close to the 24 Hour Fitness I workout at, close to downtown nightlife which means many drunken nights walking home and I think I can even walk to a few of the theaters I frequent for screenings.

Okay, this is just four pics because my stupid battery ran out, but it gives you a little bit of a good idea. Also, take note that the pictures were taken at like 9 PM so it was quite dark considering there aren't any lamps in the place just yet.

I know it isn't a ton of great looks, and I wish I had more to show. I think I will be back in there though, and hopefully not at night. My biggest hope is to find a place soon since shopping and hunting around for a condo is fun, but tiring.
