Bill Murray for Mayor of 'Ember'
A political style ad aptly placed
While the Presidential Debate may have caused me to get the trailer for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button up a little late, it did allow me the chance to see a new TV spot for City of Ember using the political advertisements playing now as inspiration for a "Vote Bill the Mayor of Ember" campaign ad. The film centers on an underground city built to last 200 years in an attempt to save the human race from some kind of disaster. We enter the story at a point where the generator for the city is failing and a way out must be found.
The pic stars Atonement star Saorise Ronin along Tim Robbins, Bill Murray, Toby Jones and Martin Landau and is directed by Monster House helmer Gil Kenan. City of Ember hits theaters on October 10.
