Big Names Meet 'Margaret'
Paquin on and more to come.
Variety is reporting that Anna Paquin is set to star in Margaret for co-financiers Fox Searchlight and Camelot Pictures with Kenneth Lonergan set to direct.
On top of Paquin stars Matt Damon, Mark Ruffalo, J. Smith-Cameron and Jeannie Berlin are ver close to deals that would find their names in the credits as well.
The film is a drama that revolves around a Gotham teen, her actress mother and the girl who tries to make amends for her complicity in a terrible traffic accident.
As well as directing, Lonergan also wrote the script and has actually been working for about two years to get the project into production. The film will shoot in New York.
Paquin will next be seen in The Squid and the Whale and will also be reprising her role as Rogue in the upcoming X-Men 3 film.
