Bernal, Glover and Braga Suffer 'Blindness'
A serious list of names is growing for this one
Fernando Meirelles is building an impressive cast for his follow-up to The Constant Gardener as he has cast Gael Garcia Bernal, Danny Glover and Alice Braga to co-star in his apocalyptic drama Blindness.
Starring in the adaptation of the Jose Saramago novel are Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo. The story centers on an outbreak of blindness that sweeps an unidentified town. Ruffalo will play a doctor who loses his sight along with everyone else in town, except the doc's wife (Moore). Bernal will play the King of Ward 3, and Glover will narrate the story. Braga will portray the girl with the dark glasses.
Filming is scheduled to begin in early July in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Toronto.
