Will Peter Berg be the only one to bring us the movies we need?

I have said it many times how I love Peter Berg and how I can't wait to see The Kingdom (seeing it Wednesday and am pumped), and I only hope it lives up to my expectations because if it does this new bit of news is only made that much better.

Berg is set to direct a feature film based on Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell's life story for Universal Pictures. The film tells the story of the SEAL who led a team into Afghanistan on a mission to kill a Taliban leader. The theme and idea of the film works quite closely to The Kingdom which is centered on FBI agents investigating a bombing in Saudi Arabia, and will be released on September 28.

If you want to get the jump start on the Navy SEAL story it is based on Luttrell's story titled "Lone Survivor: The Eyewitness Account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of SEAL Team 10" which hit bookshelves in June.
