Dreamworks sent out the above first look at Benedict Cumberbatch as Julian Assange and Daniel Brühl (Inglourious Basterds) as Daniel Domscheit-Berg in The Fifth Estate along with word the drama will be hitting theaters on November 15, 2013.

The film is directed by Bill Condon, getting back on track after directing the Twilight: Breaking Dawn films as the story follows Domscheit-Berg, an early supporter and eventual colleague of Assange.

Scripted by Josh Singer ("Fringe," "The West Wing") and based on "Inside WikiLeaks: My Time with Julian Assange at the World's Most Dangerous Website" by Daniel Domscheit-Berg and "WikiLeaks: Inside Julian Assange's War on Secrecy" by David Leigh and Luke Harding, the story traces the heady, early days of WikiLeaks, culminating in the release of a series of controversial and history changing information leaks. The website’s overnight success brought instant fame to its principal architects and transformed the flow of information to news media and the world at large.

Along with Cumberbatch and Bruhl the film co-stars Laura Linney, Anthony Mackie, David Thewlis, Peter Capaldi, Dan Stevens, Alicia Vikander and Carice van Houten.

Featured below is a look at Assange and Domscheit-Berg for comparison's sake.

Cumberbatch is everywhere lately. I don't mind though. He's fantastic! I'm really excited to see this movie. Based on that picture, he really resembles the character.
