Beckinsale and Hasselhoff Just 'Click'
Two more join Sandler's remote driven comedy.
A couple of unlikely choice have just been made to star opposite Adam Sandler in his upcoming Frank Coraci-directed film Click for Columbia Pictures and Revolution Studios.
Variety announced today that Kate Beckinsale and David Hasselhoff have joined the cast as Beckinsale will play the female lead, while Hasselhoff will play Sandler's boss.
Click centers around a workaholic architect (Sandler) who finds a universal remote that allows him to fast-forward and rewind to different parts of his life. Complications arise when the remote starts to overrule his choices.
Beckinsale and Hasselhoff not only join Sandler on the project, but Blake Heron, Allen Covert, Peter Dante and Christopher Walken round out the cast.
The script was written by the Bruce Almighty team of Mark O'Keefe and Steven Wayne Koren and filming is expected to commence in mid-June with an expected release date of June 23, 2006.
