Barrymore Gets 'Lucky' with Bana
Drew signs on for Bana poker flick.
Back in September '04 we mentioned Eric Bana had signed on for a film titled Lucky You for helmer Curtis Hanson, and now it seems Drew Barrymore is aboard as well.
The film finds Bana in the role as Huck Cheever a gambler who makes his way through the world of high stakes poker. Cheever gets a lesson in life from a struggling singer (Barrymore) as he collides with his estranged father at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
The film will be distributed by Warner Bros.
