'Backyard' Indy Comes to Paramount
Raiders adaptation gets no 'resistance' from Paramount...
Paramount Pictures and producer Scott Rudin have signed on Daniel Clowes to pen the script for Backyard Resistance, a film revolving around a trio of youngsters who made a shot-by-shot remake of Raiders of the Lost Ark called "Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation."
The three responsible for the homemade movie began began the project while on summer vacation in 1982, finishing it seven years later, shooting on a VHS camcorder and using backwoods Mississippi locales.
