Mandy joins romantic dramedy.

Variety reports that singer turned "actress," Mandy Moore, has just signed on to star in Personal Shopping for Paramount Pictures and Scott Rudin Productions.
The film has been in the works since 2001 and centers around a man arriving in the States, losing his bags, and then hiring a personal shopper (Moore) at an upscale department store and subsequently falling in love as she provides him a new wardrobe.
The story originally found the man arriving in London but is expected to be Americanized with the addition of Moore to the project.
