Woody Allen's latest film has been picked up by Sony Classics, but the subject of it all remains a mystery. The cast list is impressive, consisting of Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins, Naomi Watts, Freida Pinto, Antonio Banderas and Lucy Punch as Allen returns to Europe with financer, Mediapro, the Spain-based company which also funded Vicky Cristina Barcelona, which earned Penélope Cruz a Supporting Actress Oscar and Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) at the 2009 Golden Globes. As with most Allen films the idea of Director, Screenplay, Picture and acting nods are possibilities, some stronger possibilities than others.

You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger is directed by Woody Allen and the MPAA has rated it R for some language.

A little romance, some sex, some treachery and apart from that, a few laughs. The lives of a group of people whose passions, ambitions and anxieties force them all into assorted troubles that run the gamut from ludicrous to dangerous.

A return to Europe for Allen, the new film shoots in London this summer and reteams the director with financier, Mediapro, the Spain-based company which also funded Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
