NOTES: I really like this race as Jason Reitman is eying a potential first Oscar for his mantle and Kathryn Bigelow is looking for her first nomination, let alone a win. Could Bigelow become the first female to win Best Director? I can't imagine it would hurt anyone's feelings if she did.
