Cobie Smulders plays Maria Hill in the upcoming superhero movie The Avengers and she stopped by the "Late Show with David Letterman" for a chat and to introduce the second clip from the film featuring her character and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

The Avengers is set to hit theaters on May 4, which is when it will continue the big-screen adventures started in Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger, Marvel's The Avengers is the super hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.
The film is directed by Joss Whedon and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Cobie Smulders, Stellan Skarsgard and Tom Hiddleston.
