Audio Commentary: Soderbergh Thinks Movies are Disposable… Are They?
Plus a bit on critical thinking...
Like I promised, here is part two of the audio commentary I posted on Friday and in my opinion it is actually a much more interesting discussion as Laremy and I discuss a quote he read from a Florida newspaper that unfortunately I couldn't find online, but he reads the quote before we discuss it.
After that we begin discussing the Steven Soderbergh quote I published on Thursday in my article headlined "Do Movies Matter Anymore? Steven Soderbergh Doesn't See Any Evidence They Do" and our opinion on his statement.
One thing I realized after the last post is perhaps some of you would rather download the .MP3 rather than listen to it in the player below. So for those of you that would prefer that, you can right click here and select "Save As" to save the file to your computer and listen to it whenever and however or just hit play below.
This one runs 16 minutes and 28 seconds so sit back and (hopefully) enjoy and share any thoughts you may have on the discussion in the comments below.
Have a movie related question you think would be a good topic for an upcoming audio commentary? Let us know in the comments below!

Soderbergh thinks movies don't matter anymore because his movies don't matter anymore.
Remember this guy once was nominated for best director twice in the same year – he used to be hot shit.
But inevitably he fell from the top of the awards and money lists and now he thinks movies in general don't matter. Which makes sense, to be a director you have a huge ego – you have to really believe you are the center of the world.
Now that Soderbergh isn't the center of the movie world he thinks this world doesn't revolve around anything.
