Look, I'm not a hater or anything, I don't know these people from a can of paint, I applaud Naturi Naughton for landing the role of Lil' Kim, but as a Lil' Kim fan, I'm not pleased. I feel like a little more passion should have been brought in the character. I know because I'm a local rap artist whose been in the same position as Lil' Kim. And seeing someone you have strong feelings for act as if they don't have the same in return until the night time comes or when they girl isn't around is really enough to make you passionate in the studio. I'm not saying she wasn't good at all, but I would have gotten some tips from the person that I was portraying, I mean, isn't that what Beyonce' did when she landed the role of Deena in the Broadway Play turned movie "Dreamgirls"? I know that the story wasn't based on the Supremes but it has similar aspects that the Supremes went through during their time of success, but, however this is a biopic, and alot of emotions were involved while this was happening (4-REAL!). I'm just saying' I didn't feel the passion. When Lil' Kim performs, talks, or even feels the need to lash out with an attitude in anything she does, it has PASSION, it has LIFE. Basically just being Fabulous. I understand the hard work that everybody put into this project, but I feel that some of the actors should have worked just as hard, being that you're potraying someone's life. Not hating or anything, I just feel like she did the best she could do and not the best that she is. But congratulations Naturi, you are playing the role of a very interesting person.
