Yet Another Best Actress Oscar Prediction Clean-Up
You would think I would have this sorted out by now
Things have been happening recently in the Oscar race that has my head spinning, and primarily because several films I have yet to see continue to change their status.
Just yesterday I mentioned how I forgot to add Sandra Bullock's performance from The Blind Side to the Best Actress prediction race only to have one reader remind me Marion Cotillard's performance in Nine has been moved from Supporting to Lead and Natalie Portman's performance in Brothers has moved from contention in Lead to Supporting.
I have also updated the charts by adding Maggie Gyllenhaal's Crazy Heart performance to the Best Actress charts along with Michelle Monaghan's performance in Trucker.
Now, other than The Blind Side and Trucker, I haven't seen Brother, Nine or Crazy Heart, which is a large reason these continue to escape me, but I think I have things pretty much squared away now… at least in terms of having all the contenders added to the charts and in their appropriate categories.
On an opposite gender note, I added Christopher Plummer's performance in The Last Station to the Best Supporting Actor race, but it too is another film I have yet to see.
