Xzibit, Peet and Connolly Join ‘X-Files 2′

Pimp my X-Files

Xzibit

I have only seen one episode of “X-Files” in my life and I never saw the first movie, however I am strangely intrigued by X-Files 2 and may have to consider trying to learn a little more about the franchise. On the other hand, now that Xzibit is a member of the cast I am not exactly sure of the caliber.

On top of X, Amanda Peet and Billy Connolly have also joined the cast in search of the unknown as the supernatural thriller gets underway this month in Vancouver for a July 25, 2008 release.

The film is a stand-alone story in the tradition of some of the show’s most acclaimed and beloved episodes, and takes the always-complicated relationship between Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) in unexpected directions. Mulder continues his unshakable quest for the truth, and Scully, the passionate, ferociously intelligent physician, remains inextricably tied to Mulder’s pursuits.
