Empire Online has the report that fang-toothed Kirsten Dunst will be following up her Mary Jane performance in Spider-Man 3 with a role alongside Hot Fuzz star Simon Pegg. The mag reports the film will be based on British journalist Toby Young’s hapless experiences as a Contributing Editor at Vanity Fair, "How To Lose Friends And Alienate People" and will feature Dunst as "fellow glossy hack, Allison, with Pegg playing the lead role of Sidney Young."

Directing the feature will be Robert B. Weide ("Curb Your Enthusiasm") with plans to direct the film throughout May, June and July in both London and NYC, with the film due to hit screens sometime next year.
