I know there is some general excitement out there for the upcoming George Clooney and Renne Zellweger sports comedy Leatherheads, but I just don't fall in line. I did watch the trailer and I wasn't impressed. It looked like they were going for something old school and cheeky and it just comes across as "been there, done that". Then the poster came out (posted at the end of this article for the uninitiated) and several people thought the dog with the leather helmet was cute. Sorry, Natalie Portman in Garden State was cute, the dog is a gimmick.

Now we have this new poster, which offers up a completely different story. You tell me based on the trailer and these two posters just what kind of movie is Leatherheads.
