Or perhaps Tom had trouble portraying a practicing Catholic, not understanding that Stauffenberg's strong personal sense of religious morality and justice helped him decide to join the resistance. Where a scientologist might've just sued adolf. Seriously tho, I do have problems with him playing von Stauffenberg. I wont bore you with the whole backstory but I've waited a long time for a movie like this but cruise playing this role seems so, so wrong to me. I'm allso not to sure about Singer as director, I loved the X-films but this is such a different kind of thing.
