Seeing how this has always been a pet peeve of mine in film and television I offer you a video brought to my attention by Film Drunk. Perhaps screenwriters will see this and realize how truly awful it is when the words "enhance it" are uttered:

That is so cool, in a stomach churning kind of way. I love how in the middle of all these intense drama filled clips there is a fraction of a second of Pink Panther. "zhyoom"
Nice call, this and "there's no signal" are the two most infuriatingly overused plot devices, I don't mean tech-plot devices, I mean plot devices in general.
The Enemy of the State one is hilarious.
Also, I want someone to make a montage of "We have a situation here," and "Get me the president."
