Plenty of names for the film adaptation...

Warner Bros. and Playtone have packed the cast list full of big names for the upcoming feature adaptation of Maurice Sendak's classic children's story, Where the Wild Things Are due out in 2008.

The film will be directed by Spike Jonze and will star the voice talent of Benicio del Toro, Forest Whitaker, Michelle Williams, Catherine O’Hara, Tom Noonan and Michael Berry with Catherine Keener tapped to appear in the live-action portion of the film playing the mother of Max, a child who ventures into a magical world of creatures after he is punished for misbehaving.
