Video Preview for Focus Features 2007

A look at Eastern Promises, Lust, Caution, Atonement and more...

Someone posted a video on YouTube featuring a mini preview of the films Focus Features has coming up this year including the June 29th release Evening, the Don Cheadle starrer Talk to Me, David Cronenberg’s Eastern Promises, Ang Lee’s Lust, Caution, the Joaquin Phoenix and Jennifer Connelly starrer Reservation Road and the Keira Knightley starrer Atonement.

Eastern Promises has the potential to kick a lot of ass (History of Violence was awesome, after all), and I loved how Martin Sheen just popped at the end of the Talk to Me segment. That was enough to make the preview for me.

Oh yeah, Talk to Me looks great… I really can’t wait to see that one. You should definitely check out the full trailer if you haven’t yet.

It’s definitely one of the movies I’m looking forward to. I felt, that in the context of this preview, Martin Sheen’s presence felt kind of unexpected and funny.
