VERY Gruesome Jaw Rip Pic from Aja’s ‘Mirrors’!

This one is not for the faint of heart!

The headline warned you so if you clicked on this article from work and are now pissed at me for what is featured below then I don’t know what to say. For those of you smart enough to click on this headline when it was “safe” (which I am assuming is most of you) then let me tell you what you are seeing.

There is no telling when this scene happens in the film, but judging from the fact that it is Amy Smart I have to assume it is about halfway as Alexandre Aja delivers a personal message as well as this new photo from his film Mirrors, which hits theaters on August 15.

Dear friends,

With the opening of my film MIRRORS just a few weeks away, I thought I would share a new tasty visual from one of my favorite scenes; a scene that I hope will change anyone’s way of watching themselves in a mirror… Vanity can be dangerous sometimes and Mirrors are not just glass and silver! - Ask Amy Smart…

See you Friday July 25th at Comic-Con,

- Alex Aja

Well, yah never know. I think the whole premise is that the bad shit happens in the mirrors and drives you insane. So she may live and that is a look at a mirror above her bath tub, which basically means her character is quite kinky, which I approve of by the way.

Great. Now *why* exactly do I want to look at random splatter images in non-realistic context?

(There’s no emotional content in this message. I simply don’t get why this is worth posting.)
