Very Dark German Poster for ‘The Happening’

This is what I want to see...

As online movie sites begin to take user reviews seriously from the likes of individuals who go by the name “ShogunMaster” or simply “Someone I know“, the rest of us wait to judge for ourselves and as a fan of M. Night Shyamalan, a source called “Someone I know” is the last person I am going to take an opinion from when it comes to his new film. You gotta love the world of the Internet where people want respect and to be taken seriously yet they can’t even write under their real names. Hmmmmm, wonder why no one wants to source people named after their favorite videogame character?

Anyway, a new international poster for Night’s The Happening has shown up online over at IMPAwards and it is pretty dark… and I like it. The first trailer I saw for this film didn’t look too good, but I have skipped subsequent trailers to keep my expectations lower than normal. Here’s to hoping for the best.

You want dark, you should check out the red band trailer… I gotta be honest, I was thinking they were just using the R rating as a marketing tool, but it really looks like its gonna be a frickin brutal movie.
