Vaughan Replaces Farino on Diaz and Kutcher Rom-Com
Who would have thought it would be hard to keep a rom-com helmer?
Variety reports taht Tom Vaughan is set to replace “Entourage” helmer Julian Farino as director on the Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher romantic comedy What Happens in Vegas for 20th Century Fox. Farino has moved on to direct The Year of Living Biblically for Paramount based on A.J. Jacobs’ book.
As for Vegas, the story obviously takes place in Sin City and will revolve around two strangers who wake up to discover they got married sometime during the previous night’s drunken festivities, with one of them winning a huge jackpot on the other’s quarter. The couple set out to undermine each other and claim the coin, only to fall in love along the way.
