USA Today ELEKTRA Preview

There are obvious high hopes for the Daredevil spin-off Elektra, especially considering the fact that Daredevil did so poorly. So now promotion begins as Jen Garner gave a little bit of time to USA Today to talk about the role and her shock in the movie being fast-tracked, since she felt Daredevil 2 would be the studio's next choice.

"This was my first movie where I had a major role," the star of TV's Alias says. "I thought they were just being nice. They even said they could see there being an Elektra movie. But I thought there was no way they'd make that before they made Daredevil 2."

The article goes on to say that filmmakers plan to keep her character, who straddles the line between villain and superhero after her father is murdered, a dark protagonist. The movie follows her training as an assassin by The Hand, a group of mystical ninjas.

There is also a teeny-tiny image of Garner along with the article, so click here to check it out along with the rest of the article.
