Up Next for Diane Kruger

German actress talks her next film.

MTV.com is reporting that Diane Kruger, star of Troy, Wicker Park and National Treasure is readying herself for Joyeux Noël, which means Merry Christmas in English.

The German film is described by the actress as "a WWI piece about the truce on Christmas Eve," she explained. "They put down their weapons, buried their dead and played [soccer] in no man's land. It's a really famous story." Next, Kruger is scheduled to shoot "Copying Beethoven," about Beethoven's (played by Ed Harris) obsession with his assistant (Kruger) while writing his Ninth Symphony. "It's the most incredible script, and that character will be a huge challenge."

You can catch Kruger in National Treasure, which is still in theaters and Wicker Park on DVD this month and Troy next month as she plays the face that launched a thousand ships.
