On the development horizon at Lionsgate is Rambo V to be written and directed by Sylvester Stallone.

An apparent Ultra Transformer will be in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen called “the combiner Devastator” and the details are as such:

  • Seven construction vehicles merge to form Devastator
  • Devastator has lots of upper body strength, like a gorilla
  • Not just green, some of the vehicles are red and yellow
  • The previously Long Haul concept art (image to left) by Josh Nizzi is legit

A pic of the robot described as “Long Haul” can be found here.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt talks about playing the Cobra Commander in G.I. Joe saying, “The cool thing about my character was that it’s not that digital… I get to put hours of prosthetic makeup on and see a different creature altogether. I’ve seen how he looks and it’s really cool.”

Kevin Smith talks Star Trek saying “you see the movie and you think, wow he did pull it off! He turned it into a viable renewed franchise.” Smith also talked about his horror flick Red State over here saying “it’s not like a splatter film, it’s not like slasher balls-to-the-wall gore, it’s more unsettling and disturbing type of horror.”

Darren Aronofsky was asked about his remake of RoboCop and said, “I don’t think it’s set anywhere that’s recognizable.”

Latest Batman comic is filled with F-Bombs and C-Words.

RUMOR: Joel Silver told MTV, “There may come a time when [the Wachowski brothers] will be focused on Wonder Woman and may come up with whatever their take on it was. They’re certainly very talented guys. Their vision for movies — whether they’re successful or not — is always singular.”

my guess is you could lay that music on top of a herpes medicine commercial and it’d be about the most kick ass thing you’ve ever seen during the commerical breaks of the nightly news.
