Tyrese Talks 'Transformers'
He didn't even have to audition.

Tyrese will next be seen in theaters alongside Meagan Good in the 21st-century Bonnie and Clyde street drama Waist Deep, but he also has a part in a little film called Transformers due out next July 4 and he talked a bit about the flick with LatinoReview.
"Like right now I'm working on Transformers. Michael Bay had me in mind, him and Spielberg discussed it and they came after me. Everybody else in the film had to audition. They came at me about the role…" he said.
Tyrese will be playing Staff Sargeant Epps and shooting seems to be moving along nicely, "I'm four weeks into it right now; we're moving everything out here to L.A. starting this week. I actually have to go back to Vegas…I was just with Bay last night. We shot all day yesterday and then I got on a plane last night to come here and then I got to go back out there. We're shooting at the Hoover Dam right now, and I have to go out there today."
