The ‘Twilight’ Teaser Trailer is Here

That didn't take long...

I have a feeling this is going to be a big one. It is almost a sign as I post my article earlier today about Twilight that the official teaser trailer hits only a mere hours later.

You can check out the flash version below or click here for High Definition stylee.

OK, well, can I just say that I am really extremely excited for this movie? I’ve read all of the books…and can’t wait for the fourth one to be released. I think this series has the potential to be the next Harry Potter. Maybe not on quite such a large scale, but I think it will also fare better than "Eragon" or "The Golden Compass." At least, I really, REALLY hope so.

I too have never heard of these books. And I’m happy people are really excited for this movie, and the trailer doesn’t make it look too bad. But wow. It’s like soooo emooooo! I half expected My Chemical Romance to be playing on the soundtrack. But then again the trailer is courtesy of Myspace, the cradle of all that is emo. So I should have been expecting it. And I guess really, now that I think of it, Vampires are inherently emo. I’m not bashing the film over this tone. I’m just bored and felt like making an observation.

Funny the Harry Potter connection when the lead actor was Cedric Diggory in Goblet of Fire.

Oh, and I haven’t heard of this series of books either.

Well, to be honest, that tone is carried over from the books. The books are actually quite emo. And normally, emo things are, well, emo, and most people don’t like them. But there’s just something about "Twilight" that makes it different. Makes it better. Hence all of the crazy, wild fans. It is a really good series though and Catherine Hardwicke is a very capable director who has put together a very amazing cast, so I think the movie should be really good.
