Trailers for 'Date Night' and 'Extraordinary Measures' Book a Seat Online

Comedy and inspiration get teased

A pair of new trailers debuted this afternoon as Yahoo introduced the trailer for CBS Films's Extraordinary Measures starring Harrison Ford, Brendan Fraser and Keri Russell and Apple debuted the trailer for Fox's Steve Carell and Tina Fey comedy Date Night from Night at the Museum helmer Shawn Levy.

In Date Night Claire and Phil Foster (Tina Fey and Steve Carell) are a typical suburban couple whose lives – including their weekly date nights of dinner and a movie – have become routine. To reignite the marital spark, they visit a trendy Manhattan bistro where a case of mistaken identity turns their evening into the ultimate date night-gone-awry. But as Claire and Phil take their unexpected walk on the wild side, they begin to remember what made them so special together.

The film hits theaters on April 9, 2010, the trailer is just below.

You can watch the trailer in high definition at Apple.

Extraordinary Measures is inspired by the true story of John Crowley(Brendan Fraser), a man who defied conventional wisdom and great odds, and risked his family's future to pursue a cure for his children's life threatening disease.

The film hits theaters on January 22, 2010, the trailer is just below.

God, "Date Night" looks bland.

And as for "Extraordinary Measures"–let's take one moment to reread the synopsis: "a man who defied conventional wisdom and great odds, and risked his family's future to pursue a cure for his children's life threatening disease."

Geeeeeeeeee…

How original.

My father knows the real John Crowley, so that trailer was incredibly disappointing. I could have been a great film, but it just looks like sap.

Extraordinary Measures looks like a genuine uplifting film and I might see it even though it's not my cup of tea.

Date Night, on the other hand, looks nothing more than average, and almost seems like they got all these stars to compensate for the lack of laughs, but I'll probably see it nonetheless.

Hard to believe we now live in a time when Brendan Fraser gets billing over Harrison Ford.
