It definitely looks grittier than Fox's Hitman, but will it come off cheesy? Check out the new trailer for Punisher: War Zone that just debuted at IGN below.

Doesn't reveal a whole lot but that is fine with me. I think it will probably be a pretty good action flic. Mr. Stevenson has a lot to live up to in my book as I love the Punisher comic and storyline and I thought Tom Jane was absolutely unreal, actually perfect as Frank Castle. That being said I am not one of these people who flips out (for the most part) when an actor is replaced. I am definitely willing to give this flic a legitimate shot. One thing that I demand however: I WANT TO SEE THE SKULL ON THE SHIRT/UNIFORM AT ALL TIMES!!!!!

This looks badass! I hope it'll improve from the 2004 movie. Love the extreme gunfire and explosions.

I also thought Tom Jane was perfect for the role in the first movie, and I also thought they did the first one real well, mabey just needed some more action in it. But hopfuly this one does prove to be better.
