The best part of Tom Hanks's endorsement of Barack Obama is how he scoffs at the fact that a celebrity endorsement would actually make your mind up. However, his pre-written statement at least expands on his endorsement even if it sounds terribly rehearsed.

If you're a regular reader around here or my (lacking attention) blog you know I am pulling for Obama to take home the Democratic nomination and I still think he will despite a few stumbles here and there. A Hanks endorsement doesn't do a whole lot for me, but it is nice to see he actually thought about his statement as opposed to just lending his voice to those god-awful songs by will.i.am.
