Sorry folks, I am a Tom Cruise apologist. I know you like to bash him because he thinks differently than you and the fact that he apologized for how his comments on Brooke Shield came out won't matter. However, I remain a steadfast supporter and while Valkyrie is looking like it may be a flop the news that Tommy Boy is in talks to make Mission: Impossible 4 is enough to get me excited.

MSNBC is reporting that sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Cruise is indeed in talks for the fourth installment, but that is the limit to the news.

Looking back over the first three films I actually thought the third one was easily the best, but people decided to stay home and scour the Internet for celebrity upskirts and nipple slips as opposed to see one hell of an action movie. So, even though M:I 3 made just shy of $398 million worldwide it was considered a flop since it did only $134 million domestically, which was $16 million shy of its reported $150 million budget.

Actually, I liked the third film so much I hope they bring back Tom, Michelle and J.J. and give me more of the same.
